Shipping & Policy
JaM Cellars strives to offer shipping that is efficient, economical and as quality-focused as possible. We charge our customers only what it costs us (and sometimes less) to have the wine shipped safely and legally. We insure your shipment at our expense.
We ship via temperature-controlled trucking year-round for East Coast states (East of the Rocky Mountains). Temperature-controlled shipments depart Napa on a weekly basis and are transported in a temperature-controlled refrigerated truck maintaining 55 degrees to our OH or TX temperature-controlled hub. We re-pack orders with ice packs (in the summer months) and provide the package to a common carrier for final mile delivery to your door.
We offer deliveries utilizing the two major common carriers, UPS and FedEx. We provide tracking information via email for every delivery when your order departs Napa. We offer temperature-controlled service via Ground, 2Day, and Overnight services for each carrier. UPS is our default carrier, but FedEx is also available.

We strongly recommend delivery of wine shipments to a business, rather than a home address as someone 21 or over is typically available to sign for the delivery.

Most states now require the collection and remittance of sales tax. Depending on the state, wine, shipping and handling and merchandise may be taxed. If your state requires the collection of tax, we will calculate it for you and include it in the total charge to your credit card. Your emailed order confirmation will detail your charges.
JaM Cellars sells and ships wine only to persons 21 years of age or older. To place an order, you must provide your date of birth.
When the wine is delivered, the recipient will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.
Returns & Cancellations
We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. We require the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions (Extreme heat or extreme cold) during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Please send an email to larry@jamcellars.com to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.
Once the wine is received, we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges. Please contact Larry Lewis at 707.287.9709 for return instructions.
