Butter Be Good
JaM Cellars loves to be Butter than good with philanthropy efforts and supports charities and individuals each year financially and with in-kind donations of wine and our team’s time and leadership. Check out what we’ve been up to and see how you can get involved.
Wine plus Music — What a Sweet Relief!
From festivals and live JaMSessions at our Napa Wine & Music Studio to our virtual JaMHappyHours on Facebook and YouTube — JaM loves music! What better way to show our love than supporting musicians in need. For another year, we’ve renewed our commitment to support Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. We have raised over $75,000 through monthly JaMHappyHour performances benefiting Sweet Relief (featuring artists like G. Love, Lisa Loeb, Emily Kinney, Morgan James, and Switchfoot), co-branded merchandise, and viewer donations — helping hundreds of artists in need. In 2024, we are pledging $30K in celebration of Sweet Relief’s 30th anniversary, helping career musicians and music industry workers in need.
And YOU can help! Here’s how…
JaM Out & Raise Funds
Every month, usually on final Fridays (unless we’re at a festival!) our JaMHappyHour livestreamed show benefits Sweet Relief Musicians Fund and is hosted by iHeartRadio radio personality Jana Sutter. For every like, share or comment you make during a benefit show, JaM Cellars will donate $1, up to $3,000 per show. We couldn’t be more excited to connect you with delicious wines, great music and do a lot of good all while having a great time!

Party like a JaMRockstar in comfy vintage-wash tees, or rock a chill vibe with an old-school felt-letter pullover — your new favorite cozy sweater. Other Butter Be Good Initiatives
V Foundation’s Wine Celebration weekend every August, benefiting cancer research. For over a decade John and Michele have supported V Foundation funding leading-edge research to cure cancer. Having been touched by cancer, sadly few of us haven’t, John was named Vintner Grant Honoree in 2018. Each year JaM supports the V Foundation wine celebration weekend by donating and pouring our wines and sponsoring musical performances.
JaM isn’t just passionate about feeding the body, but the mind, too! JaM Cellars is currently the music sponsor of OneMind festival fund-raising to spread awareness and continued research for mental health.
Love Lake Tahoe? Get to Tahoe Commons and you’ll find JaM Cellars wines poured lakeside at the annual summer music series benefitting local communities.
As second-generation Napa Valley Vintners, the Napa Valley Grapegrowers and Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation has a special place in JaM’s heart. Supporting immigrant and migrant farm workers through education, health, and family support is crucial to Napa Valley and to John and Michele.
