The Women of JaM

March is all about celebrating the women in your life, so of course we have to show some love to some of the ahhh-mazing ladies who help make JaM as fantastic as it is. Scroll on to get to know some of the women behind the scenes at JaM Cellars.

Michele — The M in JaM

Of course we’re kicking off the list with the “M” in JaM Cellars—Michele Truchard, Co-founder and the heart of JaM Cellars! 

Michele has been with John for over 25 years—building the brand, selling and pouring wines, and hosting guests. She’s also Mom to three, on several charitable boards and committees, and brand ambassador extraordinaire for JaM Cellars at events like BottleRock Napa Valley, presented by JaM Cellars; Aspen, South Beach, and Pebble Beach Food & Wine festivals; and more! We don’t know how she does it, but she balances work, family, and community with ease, a smile and always looking fantastic. Michele is the ULTIMATE boss lady!

Fav wine: A strong believer that bubbles are for every occasion, Butter Bubbles Sparkling is always chilling in her fridge!

Sarah — Chief Marketing Rockstar

Sarah is JaM Cellars’ marketing superstar. She’s the mastermind behind JaM’s fun and exciting initiatives—whether being Presenting Sponsor of BottleRock Napa Valley, creating JaMHappyHour livestreams, and almost 10 years of bringing our easy-to-love wines to life on screen and IRL. Leader extraordinaire and multi-tasker by day—but out on the river, or out on the town sipping Butter whenever she gets the chance!

Fav wine: The OG, melt-in-your-mouth Butter Chardonnay of course (esp. ButterCans for boat days!).

Liza — Ultimate Creative Queen

Liza, the Chief Creative Officer is the woman behind the ICONIC Butter yellow label we all know and love. We can always count on Liza for fresh ideas, and taking our creative ideas to the next level. Liza is always fabulous, but she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty on her farm with her husband and two sons. When she’s not working and being the ultimate boy mom, you can find her in the gym — she’s also the ultimate fitness queen!

Fav Wine: Liza loves juicy JaM Cabernet as a post-workout sip!

Coco — Tasting Room Rockstar

If you’re a Napa local, you’ve probably seen Carina, aka Coco, serving up wine and good vibes in our downtown Wine and Music Studio. Coco also has her own podcast, ROCKnVINO: A Pairing of Music and Wine. She lives and breathes wine and music and we are so lucky to have her running things at the Wine and Music Studio!

Fav wine: JaM Platinum Rose is Coco’s go-to! She loves the bright and refreshing notes of strawberry and citrus — YUM! Stop in the tasting room to try this Napa exclusive sip.

Jana — Radio Host with the Most

Jana Sutter is a radio hosting rockstar and honorary JaM-ily member. You can catch Jana on iHeartRadio’s Magic 107.7 and XL 107.7 in Orlando and on JaMHappyHour, where she hosts amazing artists while raising money for Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. And if you’re going to BottleRock, you’ll be lucky to catch her in-person at the JaM Cellars JaMPad!

Fav wine: When Jana’s off the clock, you’ll find her sipping on Butter Cab. It’s her favorite sip to wine down with or alongside a homemade meal!
